Start central, then go east with purpose.

Best for first-timers Central, connected, but easy to over-walk with luggage.

First move

Follow the S-Bahn/U5 layer toward Alexanderplatz if your hotel or first walk is in the historic centre. Do not drag bags through the government quarter just because it looks close on the map.
