Berlin Wall Trail: which section is actually worth your time

The Berliner Mauerweg is 160 km. The Wall you came to see survives in a small part of it. Below is the whole loop drawn to scale and shaded by how much border history is still standing, so you can see the problem before you plan around it.

The full loop, to scale Wall left to see: none traces real dense

Each block is one of the Senate's 14 sections, sized by its real length. Tap a block for its stations, surface and what survives. Once you set your time below, a yellow bar marks the sections that fit and a fine hatch covers the ones that do not.

1 How long have you got?
2 On foot or on a bike?

Section names and lengths follow the Berlin Senate's official Mauerweg breakdown; the current route flyers and GPS tracks are published by the Senate mobility department. Times assume 4.5 km/h walking and 13 km/h cycling plus travel to and from the ends, and are planning estimates, not timetable promises. Checked 21 July 2026.
